Loved relaxing in the garden, it was as if I was transported to my own private oasis. The nearest airport is conveniently located, in case I ever decide to escape this charming little village.
Who needs a dishwasher and microwave? I much prefer doing the dishes and waiting for my food to cook the old-fashioned way.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming cottage in Thornham. The cottage was beautifully appointed and had everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was comfy, and the shower was powerful. I even loved the deep bath for a relaxing soak. The cottage had a lovely little garden and off-road parking, which made unpacking and packing a breeze. Additionally, the cottage was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made me feel right at home. The location was also great, with a deli right across the road that supplied everything I needed, including delicious food. I also appreciated the dog-friendly environment and the nearby dog walk that led to the beach. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again.
Although there were a couple of minor drawbacks, such as some noise from the main road and the need to wash up a few things before using them, these issues did not greatly impact my overall enjoyment of the cottage. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped getaway.

The cottage was exceptionally clean and comfortable. the contained garden was perfect for our dogs and the parking was conveniently located just a few feet away, making unpacking and packing a breeze. We also loved the fact that there was a deli across the road, which supplied everything we needed and served delicious food. the cottage was located near a lovely dog walk loop that took us to the beach and through Thornham.
That the dustbins were full and we would have appreciated a better recycling bin system. Another negative aspect was that housekeeping staff came onto the property multiple times a day to an out house just outside our lounge door, making us feel like the property wasn't entirely private.

The cottage was absolutely mind-blowing! It had everything we needed and more. The bedrooms were spacious and the location was perfect, especially for our dogs. The hamper we received on arrival was super and the breakfast at the deli across the road was fabulous with a wide variety to choose from. It was definitely great value for money. Additionally, the cottage was in a prime location, just a short walk away from pubs and restaurants. We were able to easily explore the beautiful attractions of Brancaster, Burnham Holkham, and Wells. I would without a doubt return to this amazing hidden retreat. The decor was well-thought-out with lots of character, and the bed was extremely comfy. The shower was powerful, and we loved the deep bath. The staff were not intrusive, which was a relief, and the TVs were a good size. The cottage had enough storage space to keep things neat and tidy, and having a dressing table in the bedroom was a super bonus. The welcome hamper was a nice touch, and we highly recommend trying the brownies at the deli - they were the best we've ever had! The interior design and cleanliness were of a jaw-dropping standard, and the cottage itself was very pretty. It was also conveniently located for accessing the local attractions. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!
